I quite like the title of this first blog post. Even though it’s the default one, it somehow feels about right.

I was told I needed to get myself “out there” by creating a digital presence and networking. To be honest, that’s all a bit alien to me. I’m getting more comfortable with it as time goes on and with a bit of practice, but I’m still very much a product of my generation.

So, I’ve decided to think of this blog as a scrapbook. I’m going to start at the beginning of my journey, looking back at the thoughts and feelings I had when I first started, and then work my way through my university adventures until I catch up with where I am now.

There are so many blogs out there that I don’t imagine this one will go very far, but that’s not really the point. I’ll enjoy putting it together and, while it lasts, I’ll see what it becomes.

If anyone does happen to find this blog, a little warning: my mind has a habit of wandering. I tend to meander from one thought to another, and sometimes I struggled along the way. This won’t be the whole story of my journey, just the edited highlights.
